Progress has been very little towards meeting an appropriate balance between the stray (community) animals such as dogs, cats, cattle, etc. and the rate at which the Bangalore city is growing.

Dogs in particular, have been a subject of huge controversy. They (dogs) seem to be in confusion not knowing whether they are being considered as man’s best friend or man’s (community’s) menace leading to endless debates and ill-treatment of many dogs.

The ethics behind our concept of Animal Welfare are best expressed in the words of the great inventor Thomas A. Edison: “Non-violence leads to the highest ethics, which is the goal of all evolution. Until we stop harming all other living beings, we are still savages".

Save Our Animals Charitable Trust is looking out for young volunteers who have a flare for making presentations about animal welfare and other issues related to wellbeing of animals. We will be targetting school children, college goers, corporates, etc. We would also like our volunteers to scout around for potential good homes for adoption of homeless animals.
